Learnings
When building this store, the biggest challenge I faced was in deciding what to sell and how to find a common theme. You can sell anything in the world - probably shouldn't, but you can - and that makes starting the hardest part.
The whole process of adding products, though, worked the best and was the fastest part of setup. Installing themes and apps was tedious and finicky, but such is customization and coding, and I think those are next-level to actually selling something anyway.
I think the overall speed and responsiveness could be improved when setting up the store and performing administrative actions. I'm excited to help with that!
After going through this, I think I empathize much more with merchants about the process of determining what they should sell. There's a wide world out there, but you have to fit an idea/thing into a product-shaped box and describe it well enough to sell.
